We are proud of the amazing dental technology we have in our office. Technology is an investment in our dental family to help you and your family receive advanced dental care that is less invasive and more efficient. One of the most helpful technological tools we use is our Sopro intraoral camera. It looks like an oversized pen but it is actually a small video camera that takes photos of your gums and teeth which appear on a monitor so we can see what is going on inside your mouth together. It’s very useful for finding cracked or damaged teeth and creating a custom treatment plan to fix any issues you may have.
We also have the 3 Shape Trios Digital Scanner to replace conventional impressions with messy materials. This scanner provides accurate images of the teeth and the bite allowing restorations created from the digital process to be delivered faster with a more precise fit and fewer adjustments. We are able to scan teeth needing crowns to capture an accurate image of the tooth which can be sent to the laboratory the same day for crown fabrication.
Our office is proud to offer digital x-rays which have significantly less radiation than traditional xrays. We use quiet electric handpieces. Our Hygienists will utilize the Cavitron ultrasonic when cleaning your teeth, which is much more effective in breaking up bacterial cell walls during your cleaning than traditional hand scaling. Your teeth will have fewer bacteria for a longer period of time. We are also able to offer the Prophy-Jet technology to remove stain from your teeth, which will help to brighten your smile from tea or coffee stain.
